I second Colorado Springs. My Dad used to take us there for vacation when I was a kid and I LOVED it. If I could move there today, I would. I also really like Denver. My Aunt has lived there for years and as far as I know, really likes living there and never had any problems. Colorados just an all around GREAT state to live in - good luck to you!

That is a great question, but we need more info as to what you like. Boulder is amazing. There is a wonderful, intellectual, eclectic energy there. University of Colorado is there, you can walk to just about anywhere and it is safe. BUT, it is expensive. Colorado Springs is nice, nothing compared to Denver and Boulder in terms of a city, but it is affordable and in recent years more and more establishments have provided its citizens with activities and restaurants,etc. Denver has many, many areas that are fun, hip, family oriented: Washington Park neighborhood, Highlands, Sloans Lake. All are easily accessible to the highways and to downtown but are safe.
