Do I want to move from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Phoenix, Arizona for college

Do I want to move from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Phoenix, Arizona for college?
I am considering going to Arizona State University in Arizona. Currently, I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and as you know, it is very cold here. Should I consider moving from a cold "habitat" to a warmer one?

Answer 1 :
There are a lot more opportunities out in the Phoenix area for jobs after graduation.
Answer 2 :
well the only up side is you won't have to stay in the summer... I would say it is ok if you can leave for the summers to maybe (go home in Colorado?)

Answer 1 :
college = debt
Answer 2 :
Talk to your guidance counselor/dean about getting a part-time job through the university. When I went to college I worked at the business library and I transcribed audiotaped notes from professors of the psychology department. Start cleaning houses, or bartending/waitressing.
Answer 3 :
go to all the places around the area that you wouldn't mind working and ask if the manager is in then ask him for an application.
Answer 4 :
Apply at hotels to be a front desk clerk. At a lot of places, during slow times, you can do your homework at the desk. College doesn't have to mean debt, especially if you're in state. I don't have any from my undergrad.

Which would be a better college to go to for electrical engineering? Colorado State or Baylor

Which would be a better college to go to for electrical engineering? Colorado State or Baylor?
I want to go to baylor because it would be nice since i live in colorado and it would be a different atmosphere/climate. But leaving colorado would mean leaving friends and family and what not for periods of a time, and i dont know if i totally want that yet. Thanks.

Im going to Colo state! :) Ive heard greeaaat things about the school and all of its classes!!
Answer 2 :
Baylor is a great school, but in my estimation, Colorado State has the better engineering school over all. Also to consider, if you really don't want to leave your friends and family, then you need to think about that. CSU is a great school. Both of our daughters graduated from there and loved it. The atmosphere and the teaching is A++.
