They are pretty much ranked the same--Colorado is the 30th best liberal arts college in the country, and Whitman is 37th. In terms of name recognition, though, Colorado is better than Whitman.

I'm sick of Colorado, where is a good (cheap) state to go to college thats different

I'm sick of Colorado, where is a good (cheap) state to go to college thats different?
I'm going to graduate in a few years, and though I love Colorado and loved growing up here, I'm bored with it and want a fresh new start and adventure somewhere else. I won't have a ton of money to go to amazing colleges with out of state tuition, but can handle some colleges. I am really open to any state as long as it isn't super rural or super expensive.

Colorado School of Mines or Boston Architectural College

Colorado School of Mines or Boston Architectural College?
I am looking at both CSM and BAC, but I cant really choose. I can't seem to find if CSM offers Architectural and Interior Design classes, do they? And I was also wondering if there are any more colleges that offer Architectural and Interior Design classes that are located closer to Colorado than BAC is? Thanks, and no rush on this.

Can i become a resident of Colorado while attending Community College there

Can i become a resident of Colorado while attending Community College there?
I know this has been asked. I know some things about: License, Plates, Rent, Job, Bill, Taxes. If no than, Can i become a resident there while taking online classes in my state of current residency?

Answer 1 :
It takes one year to establish residency. You can attend college or go on line but it will cost more until your residency is completed. To prove residency, you have to show proof. Either a drivers license, or plane ticket receipt when you arrived, electric bill with your name on it etc.
Answer 2 :
Probably not. In most, if not all, states, attending college does not constitute residence. Many states require one year of residence - working, paying taxes, registering to vote, etc. - before you qualify for in-state tuition. You may be able to take evening classes during that year. [I moved to another state, worked for a year and applied/was accepted as an in-state student - not in Colorado. Took classes at night while I worked.]
