Going to college in Glenwood Springs, Colorado what kind of car should I get

Going to college in Glenwood Springs, Colorado what kind of car should I get?
So I will be going to Colorado Mountain College next fall. Planning on buying a car sometime in January. My dad says a Subaru would be best but they are kind of pricey. So what do you think? Glenwood Springs is about 160 miles west of Denver. The college is about 20 mins south of Glenwood Springs.

I agree with your dad, a Subaru would be best simply because they are the cheapest cars with all wheel drive, which is good for the mountains and snow, but anything that has all wheel drive will be a good vehicle for you.

Subaru are great but their resale value makes a used on pricey try a ford Taurus or 2cd some Toyota both are pretty good for your kind of driving

Just be sure it’s American or European because the quality of Japanese and Korean cars has been going down hill faster than a run-away train in recent years so avoid anything from Japan or Korea, they have high repair costs and often need to have parts ordered instead of being in stock like American cars will and that will leave you with nothing to drive while you wait for ordered parts to come in. They also don’t last as long as American or European cars. Even the ones “assembled” in America are built with low quality imported Japanese parts. That fact being said I suggest a Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Solstice, Corvette or Ford Mustang for sports cars. Chevy Cruz, Chevy Cobalt, Chevy Malibu Ford Focus Ford Fiesta and Ford Fusion for practical cars. Cadillac, Buick LeSabre Buick Park Avenue, Lincoln for comfort and luxury. Jeep Liberty or Jeep Cherokee for off road fun. If you prefer an imported car go with Mercedes, Audi, Holden, Vauxhall or VW they will be a LOT more reliable than Japanese or Korean. Signed, The Raven.

How much money per month / semester would an out-of-state student need to attend a 2 year college in COLORADO?
at a 2 year college in Colorado, how much per month or semester would probably, realistically, be enough to take about 2 classes per semester, and also afford to afford someplace to rent?

What do you think about Colorado College

What do you think about Colorado College?
For the past month I have been busy filling out applications to colleges and I have narrowed my choices down to three schools! #1 University of Denver, #2 The College of William and Mary, #3 Colorado College. I will be touring Colorado College next week and would like to hear other individuals opinions about how they perceive the school!?

Its quite prestigious and a very good education if you're willing to work for it. however make sure you take the block system into account. It is very very different than almost anywhere else, and for some people is a horrible way to learn. on the other hand if this works for you then like i said, its a wonderful place. beautiful campus, nice people (though c springs is quite conservative), and again, excellent education,(virtually) any grad school would take you

It is certainly one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country but in my opinion it is not enough to warrant the $35,844 per year tuition price tag that comes with it. This is even more true when you consider the cost at some of the better liberal arts colleges: Claremont McKenna, Williams and Barnard are all $37K. Davidson is $33K, Smiths and Harvey are $36K and Grinnel is only about $31K. The University of Denver is also over priced and offers no real Prestige outside of Colorado at undergraduate level. Granted it is a top 100 university and it is private but a better education can be had at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Personally I would aim for William & Mary and either scrap the other two or replace them with CU-Boulder or other top liberal arts colleges if that is what you have your eye on.
3 :
It is a very top-quality flagship university.
