Im looking for a college in colorado surrounded with horses. Any Ideas or suggestions?
I love horses and want to build a career with them. I have heard that some colleges in colorado have a chance for people to work with them on campus but Im not sure its true. I really havent looked into many colleges yet but all I know is I need to get into some classes that Im interested in. And the only things Im interested in is Horses and muscle cars. :-)

Answer 1 :
Peterson's guide to colleges. SEEK out equestrian studies.
Answer 2 :
Colorado State has a veterinarian program and there's a lot of horse property in and around Fort Collins. Also try Adams State down in Alamosa.
Answer 3 :
There's two really good colleges with horse programs in Colorado. Colorado State University is a good school if you want to become a vet and Lamar Community College has a hands-on training program where they give your horses to train and teach you how to be a good trainer. If you ever consider moving out of Colorado, there are two really good schools in California too. California Polyteching State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) is pretty well known for having both a horse training program and a pre-vet program and Feather River College is a junior college with a great horse training program. Hope this helps!
