What kind of college is the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs

What kind of college is the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs?
Is it a good college to study English or Psychology? And how does it compare to the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Colorado at Denver? And how difficult is it to get in?

I've always been a strong believer in the fact that it's still the University of Colorado so you're still getting an education that's basically the same as the other two places. At the Denver campus, it is more of a commuter campus, and a lot of students have jobs so teachers may be more sympathetic & patient with other circumstances. I personally wouldn't live in the student housing on the Denver campus, but then again I think I'm pretty picky and I know students who are pretty happy living there. Boulder is pretty hard-core, they really expect students to focus on their education, and walking on campus there I feel pretty lost, but I've never been a student there so I'm sure that explains it! It's a pretty expensive school & campus & town in general too. The Springs campus is really a good balance of both in my opinion. I have heard that it's easier to get into the Springs campus than Boulder, but I'm not sure that's true. I also know kids who were told by high school counselors that there's no way they could get into Boulder, but they got in just fine. My sister got a psych degree from Denver campus and was content there (though traffic onto campus frustrated her.) I don't know as much about the psych program at Springs but I think it's pretty good. It'd also be a good place to study English I think! Overall, I would recommend any of the campuses, and probably Springs over Denver, but definitely Springs or Denver over Boulder!
